Thanks, saw that thread courtesy of your link. I've already seen the widescreen versions of the Karate Kid movies held from the US for years now, and I notice that this Matix set is listed as Region 4 (US is Region 1 for those that may not know).
I wonder if we are going to go years without the Matrix set being released in Region 1, like we have already gone without the Karate Kid Widescreen editions.

That is for Region 2. Hopefully Region 1 will get something similar soon. Does anyone else think that there are too many extras?

The fact that the Animatrix is listed pretty much answers a question for me. My local Wal Mart recently added a bunch to its $14.xx discount rack. Looks like I'll hold off on that one.

Looks like the US price will run about $79.99. $45 pounds equates to about $82. The discount retail price will probably run about $60 or so.

I too don't have time to watch extras more than once most of the time, but I think I will buy this boxed set anyway. I have been waiting for it since the very first Matrix release, and I will be buying it upon release.

Does it include the deleted scene that takes place betweeen The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded where Lawrence Fishburne eats raw cookie dough for an hour?
