Barnes & Noble 2 for 1 dvd sale????
This was mentioned in another thread (la dolce vita cover art...) but was somewhat off topic. I am just curious if anybody knows about this deal where you buy 2 dvds and get one free, it was said to be going on at B&N through the month of June.
I went to the site but couldn't find anything about it or how to activate it, so if anybody knows about it please let me know how you can obtain this stellar deal.
many thanks.

its buy 2 get one free and in store only i believe.
several caveats-
1) B&N always have their dvds marked at full list price- the exception is boxed sets with 3 discs or more which are 10% off
2) they don't allow returns with this promotion, and even exchanges are a huge pain in the ass- so choose wisely
if you wanted to buy them online- your best bet would just be to shop somewhere else.
you can get Criterions at 35% off aover at DVD planet with no minimum, and Box sets can be just as if not cheaper from DDD or Amazon with STL.

Yes, you should let this be a lesson to... er... both of you.
