Not going to catch this in theaters because of all the bad reviews, but i'll probably check it out on DVD.

Hope we don't get a slew of threadcraps.

never ever?

There are some movies where you want the time you wasted on seeing it, back, this is one of those movies IMO.

I liked VH and will pick this up for the Frankenstein intro segment alone.
I just wish someone would make with the Monster Squad on DVD already, in my mind a more succesful reunion of the classic monsters.

If that includes cutting all scenes with Frankenstein in it, then I may break down and buy it. I never ever in my life thought I'd say this, but Randy Quaid made a better Frankenstein.

I know it was a bit of a thread crap, but i totally agree with scott.
I hated this over blown ps2 cgi-fest of a movie and really hope it dosnt get a sequel.

Cause it was estimated the film would make $100 million early into it's second weekend.

It didn't break $100 million until the end of it's third weekend (due to the 50-60% drop-offs).

I never cease to be amazed and disgusted at how rampant thread crapping is in this forum by those who seem to hate any movie in existance. The threads' purpose was to inform when the release date was, not asking for all those who didnt enjoy the movie to spew their respective venom.

Van Helsing seems to be an exception to the rule.

I haven't seen it yet, well what am I saying, I don't go to the theaters anymore. But I'll probably get this DVD just for the genre. I'll file it next to Underworld and my Crow sets.
