Good news - Double Indemnity... Time to sit back and wait for the feature only DVD with no extras in a funky case with no insert for a low, low $26.98 MSRP.

This Gun for Hire (Frank Tuttle/1942)
Double Indemnity (Billy Wilder/1944)
The Black Angel (Roy William Neill/1946)
The Big Clock (John Farrow/1948)
Criss Cross (Robert Siodmak/1949)
No specs yet (and no mention of a box set), but given the low price, it may mean that Double Indemnity--IMHO, the greatest of all films noirs--will once again get a barebones release. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Universal will come through on this title.
