No video but fine audio

I have a problem with my new panasonic DVD, my problem is that when i connect the DVD to the TV, there is no Video nor Audio, so i connected the DVD to the VCR and the VCR to the TV, there is only audio but no Video, so I bought a RF modulator, but with this one ther isn't video and audio... If tou can tell me what can I do to have both of them, I will thank you.

Welcome to the forum. First, may be you should ask in the appropriate forum (this is the feedback forum). There are lots of people with great AV expertise in the DVD & Home Theatre Gear Forum.

But anyway, about your question, how did you connect your player to your TV? What cable did you use?

You should connect the DVD player directly to the television, not through the VCR.

Yes, we need to know how you connected the DVD player to your TV. Then, you probably need to choose the appropriate video input on the TV to get the picture and sound.

Many dvd discs have macrovision, which is a form of copy protection. If you run the video though the vcr, you will get a distorted picture that looks kinda like the scrambled channels on cable come in if you dont subscribe to them. If your tv doesnt have the approprate imputs for the audio and video outputs on the dvd, your only alternitive is a RF modulator. check the modulator to make sure it is outputting to a channel that isnt used for broadcasts in your area ( I think like VCR's, they output to either channel 3 or 4).
