When did you place your order? Mine was last Sunday and I received my coupon on Wednesday.

Interesting... I received my only "shipped" item from the deal yesterday (I in-store pickuped a lot) and today I see the remaining items as cancelled in my online status.

What's weird, though, is then there is now a separate completely "cancelled" order of everything I picked up in-store. So who knows what my bill is going to be... curious.

Don't be bitter. They have no reason to honor clerical mistakes.

Just a heads up about new BB.com deal...

No matter how many qualifying full priced games you purchase you can only get 1 $5 Platinum Hits titles. So if you order more than 1 full priced qualifying title, do it in separate orders to get more than one $5 Platinum Hits title.

Yep. And it's quite awesome that they are sending out a coupon, rather than just cancelling them and not doing anything about it like other e-tailers have in misprices/glitches.

If you haven't got the coupon, just give it another week or so, and if you don't get one give them a call.

For the person who got the games, and asked about the bill, you shouldn't get one. You only authorized the $5 charges (plus the full priced game) they can't charge you more than that.

10% off isn't much. Even on a $50 game that's matched by the $5 off coupon, and on lesser-priced items it's not very useful. Ah well, it was nice of BB.

If someone doesn't want their 10% coupon, I've got a buddy who might use one on an xbox. Only if you're not going to use it though--Thanks!

They aren't transferrable...the best one could do is have someone with it place the order, have it sent to another party and get paid back.

Interestingly when I got the initial email the listed date said that the coupon would be good from 1/11 (today) till 1/31 or something like that so I couldn't have used it when I got the email a few days ago anyways -- didn't try.

Is there any way to use a gamers GC online? Or do you have to use it in store?

I'm pretty sure you can only use those in store.

At first I thought the coupon was a good thing since I needed a new receiver, but then I remembered I can't get reward zone points if I order online and do store pick up, still a nice gesture.

I really don't care that much about the 10% but there site is just annoying. I ordered something else from them recently, and I never received a confirmation email or a pick-up notice for the store. I went to the store after the website indicated that it was available for pickup, but they wouldn't release it without the email. That was really frustrating because I had to wait in line 30 minutes to even talk to the clerk. I eventually convinced them to sell me the item, but they were unable to print me out a receipt because of some computer glitch. Its just one thing after another...

Also, my orders were canceled without any notice or acknowledgement from bestbuy.com. I just feel that they should treat there customers with more respect...

Well, at least they are being consistent, I mean they are offering the same service on the web that they do in the store (it just happens to be bad)

10% isn't much for a game like you said. But if the 10% off coupon is used for big-ticket items like HDTVs and such, then it's a lot more useful.

The pickup in store option doesn't give you an option to pay in store does it? If so, one could conceivably get the 10% off and then still use the Gamers cards, etc.

anyone know more about this?
