The Handler - 11/7

I'm surprised no one started a thread on this.

I just watched Friday's The Handler last night, with a solid performance from Lou Diamond Phillips. It was a pretty decent episode, but I saw the "twists" coming from a mile away.

Spoiler:
Everyone knew Lou Diamond Phillips would end up being crooked. Does he ever play a cop that isn't?

Kind of dropped the other continuing storylines as well. It is no Firefly, but it is good Friday night TV...

I don't think each previous episode dealt with a continuing storyline. Only a few did. Just as many were standalone eps.

Its exactly like Firefly (IMO), the show has a decent premise and an interesting cast, and when episodes are taken as a whole they are okay, but the actual work of getting through an episode is so laborous as to take away any joy in watching the show.

No, but the episode before this one left two storylines hanging, one with Peter Weller and one with the book robberies. Then this episode didn't pick either of them up.

I haven't watched last nights show yet, so that might have...

Do NOT watch last night's show - It was terrible. Bad story, bad acting. Everything about last night's show sucked. I'm sorry to be so negative, but it so awful it was annoying.

I liked last night's episode - more than the 11/7 one.

Yeah me too.

I liked the scene when Joe exposed the uc cop.

To bad we didn't get to see Lily in a porn star outfit.

That might have been the only good scene in the entire ep. I haven't watched the couple of ep's prior to last night's, so I don't know how good/bad they were, but I just thought last night's show was b-a-d.

Finally got a chance to watch it, and I liked it as well.

I think that this is the first week that they actually had theme music and credits done seperately. Usually there was no intro music, and the credits were just laid under the action on the screen. I preferred it that way.

More Lily!
