The Butterfly effect

I saw this film at a test screening in February. It was a pretty rough cut, so I don't know what they'll change, but I loved it. Kutcher does a good job. Not great, but good. Amy Smart is great, in my opinion. The film is very very dark, dealing with such subjects as molestation, murder, and things like that. Definitely a deeper film than you would expect from Ashton.
It's like an R-Rated version of Back to the Future Part 2, where things that happen in the past heavily effect the future.

I saw the trailer a couple weeks back. The longer the trailer ran the more interested I became. I was ready to dismiss it as Ashton "tries" serious, but I like the concept and Amy Smart, so why the hell not, right?

This trailer looked like they made a whole movie based on the start of that recent Time Machine movie (I never read the book or saw the old movie).
I love time travel stories but the Ashton Kutcher thing makes me not care. Of course that said, I hope the movie bombs :P
