I have been listening to Project 1950 and it's pretty good. The playfulness of the cover tunes reminds me of the Ramones.

Autumn always gets me wanting to listen to the Misfits. Its probably a combination of Halloween and the fact that I bought my first Misfits album many years ago about this same time of year and listened to it constantly.

Oh well, time to check into the Horror Hotel or maybe visit the Devil's Whorehouse.

I've been thinking about picking that up. How is the DVD that comes with it?

Hmmm, a DVD of vintage Misfits. Thats what I would really like. I'm not sure how much old concert footage exists though. I have a video of a performance from 1983 and its pretty rough, quality wise.

It's ok. Some live footage of the new Misfits, some footage of this band they helped, Balzac.

Nothing incredible, but pretty good for $14.99.

Nope. But this time of year I drag out Six Feet Deep by the Gravediggaz. Sometimes you just gotta hear some horror-core.

(I hope this isn't a threadcrap)

Actually, around this time of year I alway pull out my Siouxsie and the Banshees catalog. Join Hands, Ju Ju and Peek-a-boo are just a few albums I'll be sure to be listening to soon.

The unchanged and the unchangeable
Doing the zombierama
Singing Oh come and be like me,
We're all sisters and brothers

Actually, in a Misfits thread, that was a threadcrap.

Just kidding, I love Siouxsie, but to me The Misfits are the ultimate Halloween band. Hell, the sing a song about hacking the heads of little girls and hanging them on walls.
