WWE Raw 2 for XBox - When and Where?

On September 23rd of 2002, IGN posted a preview for WWE Raw 2 which was expected to be out in March 2003. Since then I haven't heard a word about it.

THQ's site has nothing on the game either.

Anybody else know any information on this game?

Not much info but here is a link to see the release date. Looks like you need to wait till May. Hopefully its better then the last Raw title.

I really liked the first one. IMO, it's weaknesses was lack of varied matches, which is more than taken care of in the sequel. Not that it mattered to me, but the solo squishy mode was pretty weak as well, also taken care of.

I hope one of the new items in the game is a Hungry Man Dinner.

WWE Raw 1 lacked a good one player/season mode which I really hated.

It did and they've taken care of it. It's not like the season mode for the PS2 game. It's a lot more interactive, and can be played out with 1-4 players.

Of course, when I played Raw 1, 95% of it was playing with other people. I only played the 1 player mode to unlock the characters and items. Though I'm still missing like 3 items.

I played it for a little bit. My friends and I always enjoyed playing No Mercy for N64.

Well IGN updated their release dates and it's now May of 2003 just as ebworld.com had it.

IGN said roster should have at least 45 superstars.

Oh yeah here's something to look at until the game comes out:

how was the gameplay? I really hated the feel of smackdown. At first I thought smackdown was great but that I needed to get used to the moves, I never did however and quickly lost interest in smackdown.

I thought the control and gameplay on Raw 1 were great (for a wrestling game).. there were some small problems with it (none as bad as Smackdown though), and they're all being worked on for the sequel.

When the sequel comes out, rent it.. I'm pretty sure this is going to be a great game.

The controls are pretty good. It's pretty much all up to the person playing it. Like pixyboi said, rent it, if you like it then buy it.
