Hey everyone. In order to make the most out of my current DVD collection, I have decided to program a film festival for myself. These screenings will revolve around certain themes or filmmakers. Here’s the festival schedule:

So that's the plan for the next month. If it works out well, I'll program another schedule for myself.

Maybe it's just me, but every time I watch two films in a night (which lately has been just about every night), I try to pick two films that have very little in common. Otherwise a little too much of one topic may bore me. Like I wouldn't watch two thrillers/horror movies in a row, or 2 war films or 2 films starring the same actor or whatever...

but maybe that's just me.

Before Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back came out, knowing it would be full of inside jokes and references, I had wanted to watch the first 4 films of the increasingly inaccurately titled Jersey Trilogy (name that reference ). I didn't get the chance, but now I have the whole set and will eventually have SmithFest:
