New Electronic Boutique In-Store Coupons

EB's got new in-store coupons. 16 coupons ranging from $10 instant discounts to $20 mail-in gift vouchers.

Anyone play Serious Sam for the X-Box? Any good? It will be $9.99 after instant savings.

They work like any other coupon. Found a sheet with 16 cut-outs on the register counter.

Depending on the offer and the game, you can get instant savings (price marked down when they ring it up), or mail-in for a gift voucher which is good towards a future purchase.

I don't have the sheet in front of me, but a few I can remember:

$10 instantly off Serious Sam, NFL2K3, NBA2K3, Robotech and Robotech Collector's Edition
$20 mail-in for Bloodrayne

I think it was $10 instant off of Rogue Squadron, Clone Wars, Bounty Hunter (the Star Wars console games); $10 off Hunter (GCN), The Thing (only showed the PC version).

There's a ton of coupons and more than a few deals if you don't already have them.

Here's a question I posted on another forum, but haven't got a response yet:

Bloodrayne at EB is $29.99, and their January coupon sheet has a $20 mail-in gift voucher for Bloodrayne.

If I bought Bloodrayne using trade-in credit, would I normally qualify for the gift voucher? I got it and NCAA Basketball 2K3 for change after trading in a few older games this weekend.

I'm going to send in for my gift voucher tomorrow, but wanted to check here first

Jeremy

Damn, the only coupons I saw at EB yesterday was a small yellow sheet that contained Buy (1) used game get the second one for 25% off. I think the other coupon was 20% off a game if you buy a console. I'll have to check it out again.

The NBA 2K3 deal isn't that great, considering Fry's has it for the same price as theirs (with the coupon).I was hoping for something cheaper.Oh well,I guess I'll just keep holding out.

Can you pricematch NFL2K3 to $19.99 from Circuit City and then use the $10 discount on top of that?

I don't think EB price matches any more. They could have changed their policy again.

Have the EB with Serious Sam hold one for you and pick up a sheet of coupons from another store. This is of course assuming the stores aren't too far from each other.

Another thing you might be able to do: I brought the coupon to Best Buy and they accepted it, since it was an instant discount and not a mail-in rebate. I had store credit at Best Buy to use.

For a mind-less fun shooter, I think Serious Sam is worth the $9.99.

Any idea if EB has any type of price guarntee? I bought Jedi Outcast for the cube the day after Christmas and still have my reciept. If possible I'd like to get the $10 savings. Any idea if they'll be able to do that?

The coupons say not valid on previous purchases.

You can always buy another copy with the coupon and then return it with the original receipt.

Stopped by my local EB to see if they had Serious Sam in stock. No new copies left, but they had one preowned copy. I asked a store employee if I could use the $10 off coupon on the preowned and he said yes. Bought it for $7.99 after coupon. I did notice that the coupon does say that it's for "new games" only. YMMV.
