Time Splitters 2 which version is the best one
I am going to get Time Splitters 2 and was wondering which version is the best as far as controls and graphics. My main concern is with which controller works best with the game.
I own all 3 systems and want to make sure I get the best version.
Thanks

Only played the PS2 and Xbox editions.
Prefer the Xbox.
Depends on which pad you like best really.

Actually, I have the XB and GC. I chose the XB over GC for one reason, map making. If you plan on getting into building your own multi-player boards the XB has the built in hard drive to save as many as you want. The GC you would need a bunch of memory cards. Same thing if you don't own the PS2 hard drive.
I think graphically, they are all very close. And if you don't care about the map feature, do like Rich said, pick a pad you prefer and go with that one.

The only main dif is load times. Go with a xbox or GC.
Then consider which controller you like better, GC or xbox?
Maps don't take a ton of room on the memory cards, however it is a consideration. I would base my decision on the controllers and load time.

I prefer the cube controller setup for TS2. I was a big Goldeneye player and one of the controller settings for the Cube just feels so right.
I played the Xbox version on my TV in comparison with the Cube version. I haven't even seen the PS2 version at all. There is something odd about the colors of the Xbox. It looks kind of washed out. As if someone turned down the contrast. Considering everything else is pretty identicle, I prefer the more "color corected" cube version.

I own the PS2 version and the graphics are great and the controls are REALLY comfortable with the PS2 controller. I've read the reviews online and it seems the game looks the same across the board, so it's probably whichever controller you like using the best.

I played the PS2 demo and then bought the XBOX version.
I'm real glad I did because I think it makes for a smoother game.
That map editor is just great. I made a level today and then tossed in a few bots for a game. It was great.
I'm not sure why this game got such outstanding reviews. I mean....it's a good game but I still can't believe the sticker of the outside of the case that says "First HALO....now this" The difference in gameplay and graphics is still huge IMHO. But it's the extras in TS2 that I really like so far.

I have tried the X-Box version and will probably rent the Game Cube version to see if i like the controls better. I loved Golden Eye but was having a hard time aiming with the X-Box version and figured maybe one of the other controllers would work better with the game. I usually buy the X-Box or Game Cube version of a game that is on all 3 systems but will sometimes buy the PS2 version (Need for Speed) if it is a better version.
