Song Identify: 80's "Whereever you go.."

This song just came to my mind and I can not think of the rest of it or who sings it.....

It's a guy singing it and probably from the 80's.

It goes: "Whereever you go, I'll be with you"
I can't think of anymore, sorry!

Far be it for me to not let people have their fun, but I don't think that Vanilla Ice who had one really big hit, compares to Marx who had a string of hits in the late 80s and early 90s.
