What is this song from Vanilla Sky?
I was watching the Vanilla Sky DVD and there is a song on the unreleased trailer (special features section) beginning as Tom Cruise gets out of the Ferrari in Time Square that I can't seem to figure out who it is.
It has an Indian sound (use of a sitar) and a great beat.
Anyone know the title/artist?
Thanks

I just saw the trailer you are talking about and listened to the song (since I had previously seen this thread). I have no clue as to what the song is or who sang it.
It isn't KISS, if that helps narrow it down.

Here's the Indra song (a 30 second clip courtesy of Tower Records):

Here is the Mint Royale song (30 second clip):

Out of curiosity, what genre would you put Mint Royale and Thievery Corporation? I have never heard of this style of music before, and of course I've not heard these bands.

Thievery Corporation are two DJs and producers from DC who specialize in sampling world music and jazz into their lounge dance stuff. I guess you could call it lounge-electro. I have several of their discs, their latest being a straight up jazz compilation of their favorite artists called Sounds from the Verve Hi-Fi. No sampling or dance here, just a straight jazz comp.
