It looks great, but the gameplay sucks. The game could have used more time in development. No one has reached the peak of the AKI/Asmik line of N64 wrestling games. 'Nuff said .

Ahem...X8 . And don't count on it rocking. Yukes is trying to emulate AKI/Asmik's engine and refine it supposedly, but they may fail miserably. Anchor tried to emulate and refine the engine, but they failed miserably with Raw.

It looks amazing, but yes, the game play does indeed lack in a very big way sadly.

I've heard people who own it and have played it for a while get used to and really start to enjoy the gameplay. I'm not into wrestling games, but I think this one got somewhat of a bum rap.

Considering I went through all the title belts and still had absolutely no liking for the game, I would say longer playing would not help this game in my mind.

That's exactly how I feel about it. At least with the N64 WWF games, I had fun going back and using other wrestlers to win the belts over and over and over again. You would think with the better technology, the games would get better as well, but instead I have yet to play a wrestling game to surpass or at least compare with WCW/NWO Revenge, Wrestlemania 2000, and No Mercy. That is so sad.

Believe me, I've played it quite a bit and it really sucks. Its an okay game if you wrestle your friends multiplayer, but overall I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.
