I personally hope not. What's the point of porting a game that old. Plus I don't care for the SA series. I hope they go back to the drawing board and go straight to SA3 and hopefully go back to the series roots by making the game faster and more action oriented. Sonic games shouldn't have any levels that are treasure hunts IMO. They should all be action packed with lots of speed sections.

The best DC Sonic game was ported to the GC, Sonic Adventure 2, what in the world do you want the other one for? Just kidding, it's got its good points. There's Sonic Shuffle too, but you don't want that. I bet you could buy a Dreamcast AND a copy of Sonic Adventure for about the same price as a copy of Sonic for GC. Maybe a couple of VMU's too.

I think the answer to this is quite easy, if the SA2 sells really well, you will probally see SA1 out as well. Probally a year before they dubut SA3.

So sega will throw some extra people on making the port and spiffing it up, release it to have it out there, and follow up with number 3 the year after.

I could understand the reasoning for "why go back?"...but if sales are good- a Sonic Adventure 1 Remix could be ported...making the money I guess.

I could very well see a Sonic Adventures 3 before the first one. I would love to play a SA3 which included many of the old school levels from 1 and 2. What also could be cool would be to have sonic and tails playing simultaneously (i.e. Sonic 2) where you can switch the two during game play. That could be hot.

Yeah, lock-on discs. That would be sweet.

No ...not the disc..but the playable characters in the game. Anyway rock on with those lock-on discs....
