Are The Who going to tour again anytime soon?

After watching the concert on VH1, I've got an itching to see them! Any new tour plans rumbling about?

Yeah. The Who will be touring next year. In addition they are recording their first new album in 30 years with Zak Starkey (Ringo's son) on drums. Should be pretty good. You can check PeteTownshend.com for more info. I interviewed Daltrey earlier this year and he said they were almost definitely going to tour.

Bad math. It's Hard was in 82 I believe. That would be 20 years, not 30. Sorry!

Was that Zak playing with them on VH1?

I'm not sure where the poster got the impression the Who are touring next year. No one has made such an announcement. The album has been up in the air for years and Pete regularly changes his mind on the whole affair.

I got the impression from interviewing Daltrey. That's what he told me. Yes, Townshend is fickle, but he has also said he wants to.
