Bulletstorm or Destiny 2?
I’m sure most have played both. I’m really in a crux to decide. Think I could do either. I know D2 much deeper experience and BS just stupid action FPS fun. Started both. Further along in D2 now, but always loved the mindless BS. Also, want to get back to DOOM, but it got frustratingly hard at one point and I couldn’t move on. I guess I could lower difficulty. Didn’t think of that, but don’t like to cheapen an experience by dumbing down imo.
Anyway, thought you guys could help...

As someone who foolishly ordered the deluxe version of Destiny 2 I would strongly suggest that you either pass completely or wait until September with the new expansion.
The game is unfinished with a general lack of content, virtually no story, forgettable campaigns that can be finished solo in a matter of hours. Duplicate items, rewards in the form of tokens for everything, very poor 4v4 PvP, Iron Banner changes, no Factions, boring duplicate strikes . . .
Pass on anything Bungie for me

I played both.....
One gave me loads of laughs and the other loads of duplicate, unnecessary, useless items while wanting more money for more DLC offering the same thing....

i don't think D2 is that bad. i mean it got pretty good reviews. but, i'll see if i can stick with BS and see where it goes...

Bulletstorm is more just a off-the-wall arcade shoot-em up mindless fun & laughs that has about as much depth and story as Pac-Man. It's all about using combos to get the most points using various means...ability and guns....nothing else...there is a mode to play co-op and that part is even better.
D2....if you didn't play the first the opening story/campaign might be a bit confusing. Great looking game and some of the best looking worlds around. Game mechanics are second to none and still considered tops. Lots of side stuff to do....but, some parts can be tough without having teammates you know. Lot that's better with friends and then there's the grind or luck of the draw or whatever. Constant duplicte stuff , unwanted stuff, unneeded stuff, under your level stuff....and considering what the current price is and has been, I'd say grab it and play it....

wow! BS really is mindless shooting. i left off right before a boss battle. Act 4, chapter 2, i believe. big plant thing. all i did was shoot and shoot. almost like a button masher. it was ok, but i like a little more in my shooters. i know Halo, isn't too far removed which is my favorite franchise (1-3). i mean you really only shoot stuff and drive some stuff a bit. nothing really deep. i like the BioShock type games. the FPS's with a little more to do (finding stuff, upgrading stuff, etc.). Bulletstorm is just a complete button masher and not sure i can get into it. don't care about the points or special kill things. will give it a little more, but...

yeah, i chose Bulletstorm. i'm on Act 6, chapter 1. so i guess almost done. it's mindless button mashing, the enemies ramp up, but still pretty easy to take them out. it's not bad, i just like a little more. exploration, etc. i may go with a CoD of Battlefield 1 next...

man, Act 7, chap 1 of BS was some tough shit. 4 big brutes at once and the minions. that was fucking tough. when i had 2 down, then 2 more and no checkpoint in between. it was frustrating to say the least. but passed now and on way to finish...

gotta say for a mindless FPS action game BS was pretty fun. glad i went back to it. loved the ending and would enjoy another. would love to try out the Overkill mode, but doesn't seem like enough of incentive to replay campaign. also, curious about playing as Duke...
