Fear the Walking Dead (AMC) -- Season 4 Thread -- premieres 4/15/18
Season four of AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead" premieres on Sunday, April 15th at 10:10 p.m. ET/PT. On the premiere episode, "What's Your Story?" A lone traveler's wearying journey is interrupted by new acquaintances, some who become friend, others who become foe.
As "Fear the Walking Dead" returns for season four, we will see the world of Madison Clark and her family through new eyes - the eyes of Morgan Jones, who is joining the story from the world of "The Walking Dead." The characters' immediate pasts mix with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats. They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; and the heroic, mercenary and craven, all crashing together toward a new reality.

16 episode 4th season
Lennie James, Maggie Grace, Garret Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman are new series regulars.

Morgan annoys me so not happy they brought him over here.
Both Walking Dead shows just depend on the writing; hopefully they hired some decent ones.

Strand was the best part of season 1, but they've ruined him since.
Nick and his sister are my favorite characters, though it seems general audiences don't like "junkie-boy".
I feel like FTWD would be much better off if Madison was to bite it. She's by far my least favorite part of the show and seems to make every scene she's in drag.

Ok the girl with the camera, did she ever learn how to use it? Shooting everyone with the sun behind them was totally useless. I get what the director was probably going for, but they achieve stupidity. It was interesting enough to watch next week.

I think this was the best episode of FTWD to date. And more specifically, the opening scene was probably the best moment, while the closing scene was the worst. If only they had abandoned the characters from the previous seasons completely and stuck with what they had begun to build for the first 99% of the episode.

That was actually pretty good. Probably one of the best episodes of Fear and better than pretty much most of the main show this past season. It felt like an entirely new show for 99% of it until they brought out the original cast in that final scene.
Pleasantly surprised how they wrote in those extra scenes with some of the members of the main show to help segue Morgan to this show. At least he and Rick got to say their parting words. I
how Morgan luckily found that car with a completely full tank of gas.
I enjoyed all the scenes with James, Dillahunt and Grace. They had good comradery. Too bad they couldn't have been the leads of this show from the get go.

Fear’s ratings were up from season 3.
I love the Fear the Walking Dead Facebook page. It’s basically Fear and TWD fans yelling at each other. Some supposedly Fear exclusively and have never seen the main show. Some liked the addition of Morgan and some didn't. Some were mad that 99% of the premiere didn't feature Madison, Strand and company.

I enjoyed it and I am really liking the new characters. Curious what, if any, changes of our original characters are. It was funny on another forum they hated the original group. then we get an episode of some new members and they are bitching about not seeing any of the original until the end
To me this show has some ideas and environments that interest me which is why I enjoy it but the execution can really make me work for the enjoyment.

I think with the time jump they can harden the original characters and make them less of annoying twats. I mean, hopefully. This is a nice opportunity to reboot this thing.

Why did Morgan need to see who that walker in the blue plaid shirt was? Was he expecting it to be someone he knew?
This is the first time that the stuff on FTWD is taking place after everything we've seen on TWD so far. Will TWD have to do a time jump to keep up?

It was the guy he tried to help, earlier in the episode.
He was in the back of a vehicle, and Morgan tried to give him some bandages and disinfectant, but he refused it.

Yeah, I was puzzled too, until they showed his leg.
I didn't watch FTWD all last season, but this episode wasn't too bad. Garret Dillahunt usually makes for a good watch (getting to play two different characters on Deadwood gives credence to that!), so I'll probably try a few more episodes.

Someone I know pointed out to me that the journalist who was looking for the other girl that has the same gun as hers is the Savior Laura with the bar code looking tat on her neck. At one point on the show she mentioned the gun.
