Slightly closer to classic Dante in looks, but still not the same. :'(

I don't get why they changed him to a black-haired emo punk in DMC, besides letting another company be in charge of making it... Maybe copyright reasons?

Miss the shoulder-length silver hair and long red coat. At least he's back to having silver hair even if it's short.

Whatever happened to Nero?

That chick though is already annoying as hell in just the trailer. I don't know if I could put up with her for an entire game. It's bad enough they clearly didn't attempt to lip-sync her dialogue.

That is Nero in the trailer. Don't you recognize the Red Queen from DMC 4? The voice also sounds like Johnny Bosch. Dante was at the end.

Ah, didn't realize that. Well it's funny that Nero looks more like classic Dante than Dante himself does. Dante actually looks ugly here then.

So wait, this isn't a sequel to the last DMC (and the remaster for this gen)? I guess I'm a lot less interested then since the reviews on that one were great.

That DMC was done by Ninja Theory and while well received by critics it looks like fans of the series pretty vocally hated it so now it's back being done internally by Capcom. Ninja Theory is also now owned by Microsoft so they weren't going to do a sequel.

Devil May Cry 5 got a new trailer at TGS 2018, detailing new weapons for Dante and Nero, the reveal of the mysterious third playable character, V, and Capcom also detailed exclusive in-game items that players can look forward to with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.

Along with his sword and handguns, Dante is getting a new weapon in the form of the Cavaliere R; a bladed motorcycle that tears up demon faces, limbs, and anything else that's silly enough to step into its path.

Nero's new Devil Breakers were also unveiled, including a Mega Man-inspired Mega Buster, which really deserves its own trailer. And it has one! Check it out below.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the new Devil Breakers along with a few extras, but pricing has yet to be confirmed:

Now they're talking about Capcom adding micro-transactions to the game.

Count me among the people no longer interested in the game.

Isn't this pretty much the norm now, along with delivering a half-assed product that is later patched up with future updates?

It's why I buy very few games at release. Hell, the last game I purchased was Titanfall 2 almost 2 years ago.

The last few major games i've purchased and played are neither buggy nor filled with microtransactions

A free and exclusive Xbox One demo of Devil May Cry 5 is available today, enabling you to sample the latest entry in Capcom's
blistering action series with all of the Devil Breaker appendages, giant swordplay, and brutal Smokin' Sick Style combos you can muster.

In the Devil May Cry 5 demo, you'll play as Nero in Red Grave City, taking the fight to a legion of marauding demon nasties, using his interchangeable Devil Breaker arms.
Visiting Nero's partner Nico, you'll be able to outfit yourself with new Devil Breakers, each with their own attributes.

You can play the Devil May Cry 5 Xbox One Exclusive Demo for free now, and having save data from the demo on your console will grant you 30,000 Red Orbs to use in the full game when it launches on 8th March 2019
.

Check out the new Devil May Cry 5 trailer, showcasing the new cameo system and more, below.

Tried it, made it to boss, got my ass kicked, had to start from beginning. Only tried it once.
