Yeah, I know. But it always amuses me it’s now common practice now. And I’m just jazzed to finally see a Star Wars movie in 4K. Now if they only release a UHD of The Force Awakens and Rogue One.

The BR's look pretty damn good. It would have to be phenomenal in order for me to upgrade. TLJ though is a definite 4K although I don't need the steelbook.

Ordered the 3D from Zavvi, may not even bother with this one in theaters since the presentation quality of the last 2 at the local IMAX was so crappy.

So, The Force Awakens was released in April of 2016 after the theatrical run in December 2015.

So I guess we're probably targeting April or May 2018 for this to come out? Seems reasonable. And the digital release will probably come out around March.

Still, they need to release Rogue One on UHD sooner than later.

Will NEVER watch these in 2D. Story I always tell is that Spacehunter was out the same time as Return of the Jedi, and I saw Spacehunter first because it was in 3D. Never thought I'd see a Star Wars movie in 3D, seeing that opening scroll in 3D was a joy.
