A bunch of features like Online Play for SF2, Alpha 3, and 3rd Strike, art work, music, timeline. Save states too!
Looks like $39.99 MSRP, which isn't too bad.

Well had I known this I probably wouldn’t have picked up Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers on Switch but I’ll still grab this.

I’ll probably just keep it. I’m kind of OCD that way and don’t really trade a game unless I hate it. I like Street Fighter enough where I don’t mind having both.

Capcom really is just endless regurgitation these days...

Which makes sense considering the state of stuff like Street Fighter V and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.
It's a step in the right direction for switch support, though. I think their official stance was something like "we only port stuff over the first year of a console's life because... development time" or something along those lines.

Oh, I'm not complaining all that much, but like half their output is remakes of old stuff. I mean their recent announcements were basically a new Mega Man but before that, Mega Man X collections, Mega Man collection for Switch, Devil May Cry remaster yet again, and now this SF collection... and I think before that it was basically Okami HD and Dead Rising 4 (plus Monster Hunter World).
Which makes sense considering the state of stuff like Street Fighter V and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.

This reminds me. Can you just pick up the cheap copy of Street Fighter 5 and download the updates or are they rereleasing it?

They are rereleasing it. If you buy the cheap copy, you will have to buy the season passes for the DLC characters. Wait and get the new version coming next month IMO.

Buy a used copy of SFV, the update on Jan 15th is free and is the same as buying the newer retail disc. No season pass needed for the existing characters (S1 and S2) but you will have to buy S3.

Where did you hear that they are going to start giving away the two season pass characters? I find that hard to believe.

Yeah, I saw the trailer...I still don’t get why you are expecting the season passes to be free.

So SFV, season pass1 and season pass 2 are on sale on PSN. I already have SF V and season pass 1, I guess I should just get season pass 2 since that's all that I'll be missing from AE when it releases, right?
