Re: The Game Awards 2017

Just taking a quick peek at the nominations, it looks like a well rounded list

Should be a fun show to watch this year, tons of great games to cover. Also looking forward to the new reveal trailers.

Brian Bloom is the voice of BJ in Wolfenstein? is this the same one that was in a couple movies way back when?

South Park deserved nominations for performance and narrative. Better than most things on TV.

Re: The Game Awards 2017

As an early access title, Battlegrounds shouldn't even be on this list. Just because it's popular doesn't make it great. I've played a pretty good amount of it, and even though it can be fun, it's still janky as fuck.

Re: The Game Awards 2017

That's unreal but not surprising that Horizon:Zero Dawn is in six categories....that better be up on BF.

Destiny 2 with all the hype and coverage is not in the GotY, Best Game Direction and Best Narrative but made it into four categories including Best MP and Best Action

Best Action/Adventure Game...toss up with both AC:Origins and Zero Dawn head-to-head

Most Anticipated Game...wow, what choices there and no losers at all with that list.

Friday the 13th should win best indie game, but it’s not even nominated.

Kinda funny that 3 out of the 5 most anticipated games are Sony exclusives. Are people not excited about Crackdown 3 or Sea of Thieves?

It is a video game award show, not the latest theatrical blockbuster movie. Find the link for it on YouTube and watch it.

I would have agreed a few months ago, but they've really dropped the ball.

If you use Mixer, chances are that The Game Awards will be the first thing you see when you fire up the app around the time the show starts.

TGA has said that the show will be streamed in 4K on YouTube; dunno if it'll be the same story on other apps.

No, I’ve never used or downloaded app on X1. Think I have it on smart tv too, but never used it.

Right, but the point is it's an app just like on your phone. It's not that hard to figure out.

The connection issues still persist for one. We were promised dedicated servers on multiple occasions and they still haven't followed through. The most recent patch also neutered Jason to a ridiculous level. His grab is terrible, hit detection is way off and the mechanics are super buggy. People have quit playing the game in droves.
