Man, did this take awhile to type and out figure out what those tiny images were.

Got most of them, but about six could not be IDed. For TV sets, that was beyond me - could not read the seasons.

This is where I'm going to stop first.

Hoping to find "Reign" S2 and S4, "Pretty Little Liars" S7, "The 100" S2 and S4, "The Vampire Diaries" S8, "iZombie" S1 and S3, "Game Of Thrones" S6.

Hope that "Gothham" is S3, "The Flash" is S3, "Black Sails" is S4.

And would love to find "West World", but that's a tall order.

I recall that last year a fair number of releases weren't in any of the ads, and so here's last year's thread, in case anyone wants to refresh their memories on some of the unadvertised stuff: https://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-bargai...ay-2016-a.html

For those looking for Reign S4 and iZombie S3 it's worth mentioning that those are in standard DVD cases, and do NOT have the slip boxes that make it so much easier to identify the rest of the WB shows in Wal-Mart's shippers. (I think the same is true of The 100, but can't remember for certain)

A tip for newbies.

This is for Wal-Mart exclusively - since most of them will be open all day on Thursday, you can come in and wait for sale to begin.

The BF prices go live, East Coast time, three hours earlier (if you're Pacific time; which I am).

Meaning you can go there at 4pm - visit their open media area and start shopping known titles. They're already priced.

Why not wait?

Often these DVDs still have their slipcovers, if you're a collector this is imporant.

Plus not having to waste time looking for titles in a rush. You are given just a couple of minutes to search the BF media area. Then have to return to line to wait your turn again. If you have a lot on your list, you're gonna be lined a few times. Saves you a lot of time - already have them.

Word of advice they may try to take it away from you which is what happened to me last year. Accused me of stepping into the BF area and taking titles before 6pm. I had to go and show them that the media area prices were already discounted. Ticked me off.

What you need to do is cover your DVD finds. Get a large tee or shirt from clothing and drap over them. Just long enough till the sale begins, then ditch it.

Had to do this since I didn't want to explain - again; why I had a cart with a bunch of DVDs.

I would assume one could order the Walmart items on line & do an in store pickup the following Monday when th store may be a little less crowded? Of all the BF adds I've seen, that's the only one with any titles of even minor interest for me.

The only DVD I picked up this year was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for $1.99 at Best Buy. Got some blu-rays, though. Nearly picked up Ash vs. Evil Dead season two on DVD but am hopeful for a blu-ray deal down the road.

A bunch of TV on DVD appears to be on sale at Amazon for under $10, including some CBS shows, FOX shows and such. Not sure if they're price matching someone else. I guess Walmart?

I finally finished off my Pretty Little Liars collection and bought season 6 and 7 for $9.96 each.

Also got NCIS season 13 for $9.96. Season 14 is on sale at Best Buy for $8.99, which I got last night.

Finally also finished off my Bones collection and got season 11 for $8.96 and the final season for $9.96.
