Beyond fucking thrilled about this. Have never seen them live. A long favorite band of mine. Naturally they're not coming to D.C. So I'll be doing the shows in Toronto and Philly since they are on Friday and Saturday nights.

Nice. Wish I could see more shows. I would have flown to London to see that Hyde Park concert in 2014 had I known about it earlier. As a fan, I'm sure you've seen that on DVD or online. If not, you must seek it out right away. It's simply amazing.

I wish I was able to see them back on the Out of the Blue tour. They're not coming close, so that's fine. It's just basically him and Tandy now, right?

I saw them last year in L.A. It was an amazing show. I'm looking forward to seeing them again closer to home. Got tickets today. $170 I think.
Oh yeah, Tom you're correct it's just him and Tandy.

Definitely a memorable show emceed by Tony Curtis. Had the whole flying saucer rigged up and a laser battle. Music was cool too.

Is that a typo? $60!? My friend said he saw tickets for $400.00. Now I'm guessing he meant on StubHub. Did you have good seats for that price? That's pretty damn sweet you paid that low. About the other poster who said he saw tickets for $170.00. Isn't that about right for a band like this? Foo Fighters were $130.00. I recall tickets for the Stones and U2 been around $175.00-200.00. I told my friend in Toronto to get me a ticket ELO's show there and I'd pay as high as $250.00. Cheapest ticket I've paid in years is for Morrissey's upcoming show. Just $55.00.

It was the lowest price offered. There aren’t really bad seats at Radio City.
Lowest price at MSG this year is $60 too, not including fees.

Dang. Looks like I may have to fly somewhere. I have always wanted to see Jeff Lynne live but never had a chance. I was too young when ELO was touring way back.
I remember reading that they were going to do a North American tour way back when "Zoom" was first released but since it sold so disappointingly, Lynne cancelled the possible tour.
Any chance of them expanding this to other cities? Kinda surprised that Atlanta didn't make the short list.

For the Detroit show, lower bowl seats in the back are $150 a pop, eesh. Cheap seats are $67.50. (7th row floor-center is $525)
