Title says it all. I'm fine with my PS4 and Xbox One and don't feel the need to upgrade mid cycle. I got the Nintendo Switch a few months back so that's been keeping me busy and where my money went

Plus I have a feeling we'll be seeing the PS5 and Xbox 4 by 2020 so It's not too long of a wait for a true next gen console. By that time 4K televisions will be more affordable.

I got the XB1 first and didn't get the PS4 till the Pro was available. I don't have 4K so don't really need another XB.

I'm not supporting this mid-gen phone plan they've got going BUT I am considering an Xbox One S just for the 4k Blu-ray player. PS4 has been my main console this gen, and they would have had me on the hook for a Pro if they didn't drop the ball on the BD player.

Already upgraded my PS4 To the Pro as soon as it launched.
Couldn’t care less about upgrading my Xbox One.

There should be an option for "already did" for those that already bought a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X, since that's a little different from planning on it.

Anyway, voted Yes since I bought the Xbox One X. For the boost it gives to old games and the improvements to new ones, plus the UHD player, it was worth it to me. I would have probably bought the PS4 Pro if it had a UHD player, but now I'll probably stick with my basic PS4 for Sony exclusives going forward until a PS5 comes out.

No need for me on the PS4. Upgraded it to 2 TB, and don’t really care about Pro features. Now, like others said, if the Pro had a UHD player (and a good one at that) then I would have considered it.

It’s still funny how the PS4 lost so many features that the older PS3s had (though yeah, some of it is due to being not entirely necessary). SD slots, 4 USB slots, SACD compatibility for whoever still bought those, photo viewing and editing, and the Blu-ray player interface on the dashboard and while playing was great off the bat.

I also voted Yes, but already purchased a Scorpio at launch. I also had planned on upgrading my PS4 to a Pro until they skipped the UHD drive. I don't have a 4K set yet, and as it looks I will have to hunt down an older model that supports 3D also.

I have no 4K tv, so not that interested unless my launch console dies. I find it interesting that Nintendos strategy of making a portable machine is actually panning out, and the big draw of that is not having to play it on a big tv.

Nope...there is so much already out there in terms of games with more coming that will last awhile. I have no qualms or issues with the PS4 in terms of visuals. For those who are into the "Eye Candy" aspect...sure it's a must have.

I was going to upgrade to a PS4 Pro if it had an UHD player. That didn't happened.

I'll eventually upgrade to an XBox One X when I get a 4K TV. This will be my first Xbox ever...

After Sony got to an early lead in this console generation war, I believe that they got complacent and they are just resting on their early lead. I like what MS has been doing with their BC for the early games and putting an UHD player on the S and X versions. Sony took away all of the basic features from the PS4 that was present in the PS3 as you indicated.

This is coming from somebody who never owned a MS console in his life...

I'll get a XB1X when my first one konks out which will probably be in a year or two with my luck. And as much as I want to play the Y's games on PS4, I can't rationalize a system for one game (or a series of games).

I picked up a XB1X but I don't plan on getting a Pro. I prefer PS systems overall but the power the X brings makes it worth it (for me).

I own a Pro, I'll pick up an XBOX eventually.

I got the Pro primarily for the VR head set and to have a second PS4 around, plus the price point was decent enough for what was basically the PS4S (I think I paid $379). Otherwise I don't see a huge difference between it and the standard, though a couple games perform a little better.

I also own a Pro, but don't plan on picking up an XB1X anytime soon unless my OG XB1 dies. The only reason I picked up a Pro was because it only ended up costing me like $80 to upgrade, but I know the gap is going to be much larger for the XB1X since no one wants an OG XB1 anymore. I also watched a few Digital Foundry videos and the improvements for the XB1X over the Pro isn't worth it in my eyes to change my primary platform for gaming and the exclusives.

We really only have the Xbox One S because it can do 4K discs (though we have yet to buy one). It hardly gets played as it is, but it's still nice as a back up player in the bedroom.

I just got the X1X and hopefully can pick up a Pro on Black Friday. I have a 4K projector and want that added detail.

No 4k in my house yet so I’m still satisfied with my XB1.
