Stranger Things (Netflix) -- Season 2 Thread -- premieres 10/27/17

It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
Already renewed through Season 3. The creators say it will more than likely not go passed Season 5.
Please be mindful and use spoiler tags for major plot points.

They need to crank these seasons out. Most of the kids are twice the size as they were in season one. I'm sure most will have facial hair by the time season 3 starts filming. That being said, this was my favorite show last year by a country mile. And that trailer music is epic.

Trying to watch one or two episodes per day this and last week to get ready. My spouse and I have disparate schedules right now, though, so we haven't watched together much which bums us out because we enjoyed watching it together the first time. Probably should slow down, though, as we can't really get to it until next week, not this weekend.

Just finished rewatching season 1, and agree that it's going to be difficult to avoid seeing the kids get really old really fast unless they film everything at once.

I've learned not to plow through a show I enjoy (on Netflix) as I try to take my time and enjoy each episode without going right to the next one. I did this with the first season of Bloodline and loved it.

I’m 3 episodes in. Loving it so far. If season 1 is a 10, this is an 8 or 9 so far. The new characters mesh well.

I understand that, but there's a fine line with this show due to its popularity. If you fall too far behind, then there's the risk of getting spoiled by accident.

5 episodes in (I work graveyard at home at a slow af job). Enjoying it so far. It's a
8 where season 1 was a 9 to me. 50/50 on the new characters. This feels like season 2 of 4 as opposed to 1 of 1 which hurts it a bit.
