They want to reach 300 episodes. But that won't happen until 13 episodes into a 14th season.
So according to one of the Producers it could be a potential "Series Finale" if The CW chooses to do a short season.
I actually like the idea of a milestone episode being the final one.

Interesting. I'm shocked that the leads aren't tired of playing these characters yet. Im fine with the 300 episode ending.

You get to hang out with your friends and make good, steady, money. Neither of them are major Hollywood players. Got to keep those checks coming when you have a family.

Whenever I see Jared and Jensen doing interviews together, it always seems like they actually are good friends in real life. I would imagine that working side by side for 13 years will do that, and make working on the same show for that long somewhat easier and even fun. I would think that it also helps that the show has always seemed to be able to keep the main cast rather limited.

I wish I had started watching this years ago. Now it seems daunting to even start
But great for the fans!

"How high are you?"
I'm glad they haven't killed Mary off yet. I'm more interested in her and Lucifers adventures now than the god-kid storyline.

Very weak season premiere. I don't understand the point of focusing on the death's of so many characters when we know none of them are gone. Just felt like a waste.

The new Entertainment Weekly features Supernatural on the cover, complete with a character "spoiler".
Haven't read the article yet, though....

I'm not in love with this story arc to start the season with "Jack"
They need to get Mary back from that other dimension she and Lucifer are stuck in.

I'm okay with the arc so far. Its only been 2 episodes. Really Donatello had the best idea that they should have used for Jack. They should have Jack binge on Mr Rogers Neighborhood to learn how to be a good person. Also, "let's make Hell great again" was eye-rolling but still worked better than any political commentary the CW shows do.
I do like the Mary/Lucifer side story so far. I'm so glad Mark Pellegrino came back to the role as he's awesome here. I'm hoping him and Mary end up with a relationship similar to the one the boys and Crowley had.

Last night's episode was probably the best of the ones that have aired so far.
Some really creepy scenes, especially that opening scene with the Wraith killing that Psychic Medium.

Supernatural is still doing excellent ratings each week. After the Flash, it's probably the CW's most consistent show.
This show is never getting canceled. I fully expect it to go another 3-5 seasons.

I thought this was a good episode. Nice to see Missouri back. I thought the opening scene was pretty brutal.
Nice to see Cass is back from the dead already.
There really trying hard to set up the Wayward sisters spinoff already. This episode having Jody work with Dean proved in my opinion that she's alright as a side character, but she won't be able to carry a show as a lead.

Dean's been through a lot but one would think he would be more tactfully dealing with an as yet unkillable super being.
I liked this episode. It used a monster of the week plot to call back to a past character, build a bridge to a new one and make Jack a little more "human." I sure the psychic girl will be part of Jodi's spin off mod squad show.

The Mid-Season finale aired this past Thursday.
It was actually a pretty good episode. I'm actually growing to like Jack.
So where the hell did Sam and Dean get transported to? Looks like it's the time of the dinosaurs?
Also, it looked like this episode was a set up to the backdoor Pilot for The Wayward Sisters, which is airing in the new year. They brought Jody back and I believe Patience and Kaia are supposed to be part of the spinoff.
Should be an interesting 2nd half of the season. Hopefully the backdoor Pilot works out when it airs.
