What Are You Playing? (October 2017)
At long last! Limited Run is supposed to start shipping Skullgirls (for the PS4, anyway) this month.
The only other game I know I'm playing this month is Super Mario Odyssey. If I feel squirrelly, maybe I'll pick up the DLC for Agents of Mayhem when the exclusivity windows end. My wife is playing Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and I'm watching and occasionally making suggestions, so...I dunno, maybe that counts.
There's so much this month that's catching my eye: Forza Motorsport 7, the physical release of Axiom Verge on the Switch, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Assassin's Creed: Origins. I do think I'll wait until the Xbox One X launches in November before grabbing any of those, though, and I'll see what I can scoop up between my birthday and Christmas besides.

My wife leaves for a 2 week out of country trip tonight so I'm going to try and maximize the free gaming time. Stuff I plan on trying to play through:
Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (on the last world)
Knack II
Cuphead (don't have high hopes I will be able to finish this but looking forward to playing it nonetheless)
Then I'll probably finish up some completionist stuff for Steamworld Dig 2 & Resident Evil 7.

Everybody’s Golf
NBA 2K18
FIFA 18
GTA Online
All on PS4.
Picking up WWE when it drops. Really excited about Assassins Creed too, but I know I should wait a few days for the price to drop.

Danganronpa V3
Destiny 2
No rush on either. I'll probably pick up most of the October release during Black Friday. I can wait an extra month or so to get them all half off.

Going through all of the games in this collection. So much fun I'm skipping over Octobers new releases (Might get Mario) . Was thinking of Shadow Of War but with all the bullshit loot boxes WB can go fuck themselves.

The only reason I truly want a PS4 is for that game. I adored the Ys series for a long long time and the last one I played was on the PS2.
Anyway, playing Valkyria Revolution on X1...I'm 90-95% done. After that, I'm eyeing a bunch of things (probably play a quick 1k game that takes a couple of hours since I've spent 80+ on VR) but I am supposed to be getting Battle Chasers: Nightwar by Friday. We shall see.

Assuming you're talking about the original and not the prequel episode that just came out, you BEST be going to the Life is Strange thread and posting your answers to the three most important questions known to mankind IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!

Currently Playing:
King's Quest (PS4) (going off my trophy dates it had been over 2 years since I last played chapter 1 and I never played anymore. I replayed chapter 1 and just finished 2.)
Up Next:
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (PS4) (just picked up on clearance at Target for $7.48. I loved the first two games and have been meaning to pick it up)

Add Pubg to my list. Upgraded my graphics card and got a new monitor and it’s like a whole new game being able to play with more than 14 fps.

Re: What Are You Playing? (October 2017)
We finally broke down and grabbed a PS3 + TV and a pile of good games for Christmas. I've stayed a 'generation' or two behind since the early 80s, it's always served me well....while others line up, overpay, and in some cases lose their shit for the 'hot new classics', I simply hang back a bit and snatch them up for next to nothing from the Goodwills and yard sales.
Modded PSPs and DSs comprise 95% of my gaming these days. I became aware of emulation a few years ago and still see it as some form of unfathomable wizardry. Remember: I mowed lawns and busted hump for weeks/months just to be able to afford a random shitbag NES game for $49.99, heh.
