Re: The 13th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31) ***The List Threa

2005: Bill Paxton's dick in True Lies (Miss you Bill) | 2006: 97 | 2007: 79 | 2008: 57 | 2009: 59 | 2010: 77 | 2011: 56 | 2012: 48 | 2013: 60 | 2014: 56 | 2015: 23 | 2016: 65

For the sake of the management's own sanity . . . it must be stated that there may be slight spoilers ahead. Be Warned!

Oct. 01
01. Cat People (1942)
02. The Curse of the Werewolf (1961)
03. Fall Break aka The Mutilator¹ (1984) Beach getaway turns bloody when mad dad begins wall-mounting son and his goodtime buddies. There's a theme song.
Oct. 02
04. Cult of the Cobra¹ (1955) American officers on the hunt for one last thrill abroad return home with a curse that penicillin just won't cure. Try lady snake venom!
05. The Eternal Evil of Asia Nan yang shi da xie shu¹ (1995) The usual CATIII madness. Literal dickheads, plenty of sex/nudity, and body parts gnawed to the bone.
06. Hollow Man (2000)

Oct. 06
12. Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932)
Oct. 07
13. Gerald's Game¹ (2017) The real world boogeyman ending kills the vibe, but this King adaptation remains a skin-peelingly tense, little blue pill-fueled nightmare.

14. Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
Oct. 09
15. Isle of the Dead (1945)
16. The Seventh Curse Yuan Zhen-Xia yu Wei Si-Li¹ (1986) Shoulda skipped leg day bro! HK fantasy mixes Indiana Jones with demon babies and kung fu skeletons.

Oct. 11
20. The Tomb of Ligeia (1964)
21. Equinox¹ (1970) Too many elements of a horror movie here, but the not-too-bad special effects and the inherent squareness of the production are the real draws.
22. The House That Dripped Blood (1971)
23. Race with the Devil (1975)
24. Swamp Thing (1982)
