I just netflix binged this series a few weeks ago and was really surprised about midway thru to find out this was a series on NBC. I'm no TV snob per se but I cant remember the last time I watched any kind of comedy on abc/cbs/nbc...

The only "new" comedy that we watch. Very looking forward to this season given the awesome twist in the S1 finale.

I almost gave up on the first season, but the surprise 180 they did kept me wanting to watch. Should be interesting where they take this.

Man I forgot all about this premiering tonight. I don't have my DVR set for it. I hope it's on Hulu again. I hope to catch it there.

I thought this was the best comedy show of last season and can't wait to see the premiere tonight.

I don't know why but this seemed like a really inaccessible episode for a season premiere, even with the summary of season 1. Bold move. Loved seeing the Bad Place workers wearing thin on the concept.

All the Bad Place workers bitching was pretty funny..
"but.... but I love fire... My job use to be burning people!"
I like this show being it's something a little different. I know every shows has it's fans but we have now reached a point with sitcoms where networks are just giving up new show ideas all together. They bring back Will & Grace after how ever many years. They just "get rid" of Kevin James' sitcom wife so they can bring back his sitcom wife from over a decade ago.
Most sitcoms are still trying to rock a horrible 1980s-90s laugh track.. Clearly on some level that's what a large majority wants or the rating would not be there for those other shows. I have my own tv sins too having watched pretty much every ep of Two and a Half Men when it aired.
but still, as I said nice to see something a little different. It helps that show has a pretty good cast. Even the more or less unknowns seem to have good timing etc.

Interesting start to the season. I was curious to see what direction they would go in after last seasons reveal. If Michael keeps hitting the reset button every time things don't go his way it could get boring though. I thought it was dumb on Eleanor's part to tell Michael they had figured out where they were. Plus she told him how she did it. Now she cant use that method in the future.

hmmm, this is not the most promising start to the second season. I'm not really sure what kind of legs this show has to keep me interested for the rest of the season. Was it me or did it seem a little bit off compared to last year or is it the fact that it does not hold up well as a full hour (albeit that was just two episodes back to back.)

It was just a very plot heavy episode, and was a direct continuation of Season 1. I feel like the "real" season 2 will start next week.
Michael lying about the reboot, removing the note, disgruntled employees, what happens with the humans, etc; sets up a lot of things. Hope we get more Adam Scott as well.

Hilarious episode and a great start to the season. I loved how easily Eleanor figured things out and they had to reboot again.

I predict that eventually Michael is going to have to work with Eleanor and the gang to pull one over on his boss, so he doesn't realize things are not going well.

Wasn't sure where this season would go but I liked these two episodes. I like that Eleanor figured it out so quick. It makes me think the writers have all kinds of crazy things in mind instead of just rehashing the first season. Danson is bailing it too.
"Fork off Janet." lmao
That was fantastic.

This episode might have been my favorite thus far. Just over the top and fun.
And at Jason figuring it out and Michael declaring it a low point.

This season isn't turning out at all like I figured, which isn't a bad thing. My first thought after the finale was a long search for Chidi that eventually led to a reunion.
I'm still enjoying this show a lot and am curious where this is going to lead.

This episode was just wonderful...even if this turns out to be the final season I love that a show like this made it on the air. I was laughing out loud...reset 108, and she pops in a second later to say did I hear what I think I heard...and bam, a second later he snaps his finger and reset 109 pops up on the screen, just fantastic.

Much better ep than the season premiere. The lady in purgatory is always great.
