Neeson was interviewed at TIFF (regarding a different film) and apparently stated that he's retiring from action films after this and one more that's in the can, or will be soon. It was a good run, but one he admitted he fell into almost by mistake.

This maybe an unpopular opinion but frankly, aside from the first Taken they've ALL been questionable.

That's not to say I don't think he's a decent action star, he just need to pick something that doesn't fit the generic, Taken-ripoff mold he's been stuck in lately.

Saw the latest trailer for this today during football.

Might want to keep clear of it as it changes everything about what you might expect from this movie based of the first trailer.

The subplot is revealed and a half dozen other characters are revealed.

It was funny how FOX was promoting this like it was a new Star Wars movie and making a big deal out of a routine Liam Neeson action movie that will be released in January.

They should have done that for Non-Stop in 2014.

Looks so generic. Didn’t Steven Segal do this already, in the 90’s?! I don’t know why an actor such as Neeson chooses these scripts. And don’t say money. He’s fine. I don’t want him to go straight to video ala Bruce Willis hope Death Wish brings some of it back...

This was completely predictable and pretty laughable by the end. You’ll forget it the second you walk out of the theatre.

Caught a matinee today. Agree with dex14. Totally predictable. One of the big twists was also pretty easy to figure out.

Ending was so dumb and contrived.

I like Neeson, but this was easily one of this most forgettable movies. Vera Farmiga was wasted in this.

I'd probably give this a C or C-. I think this could have been an intriguing premise, but they just didn't get the right people to develop it and make it work.

I enjoyed it. Liam Neeson could punch air and read from the phonebook for two hours and I would be entertained. Yeah its nor memorable but its entertaining and I enjoyed myself. It's like Non Stop but on a train. 3/5. In terms of the Neeson/Sera team ups I would rank them like this

1.Run all night
2. Non Stop
3. The Commuter
4. Unknown
