Just sitting down to watch ... a minute-forty-five in and I'm sick of her shit already.

"Lesbians! We're under attack!"
Why did she need salt shakers when the power went out? When Ivy was sending Pedro over with a phone charger (in a power outage?) she grabbed salt shakers, put them in a box, and said to take "this stuff" too.
Well, saw that coming.
I hate to say it, but I think I am in for one more week. Ally is an insufferable twat, but there was just enough (mainly the new neighbors who are obviously in on it) to bring me back for one more shot. If I was binging it, I don't think I would continue though.
What if the twist is that this really is just her psychotic delusions?

Well, I made it through Roanoke and thought it was pretty good actually - they should have cut the last two episodes but I definitely don't regret taking the time to watch it.
Was going to check this one out but you guys seem to be out of steam with it already.

If you enjoyed Roanoke, give this a shot. My issues with this are pretty much the same ones I had with Roanoke.

Made it through the second episode and I have to say more characters like the neighbors, and more Billie Lourd, could keep me watching. Could get interesting with the widespread blackout impacting everything. This series routinely has huge shifts in the storyline so it would be pretty awesome if Paulson's character was locked up (jail or loony bin) and the series essentially went on with out her.
If they haven't already, somebody like McFarland Toys should sell that Twisty figure.

Second episode was better than the first. What stood out the most for me was the chair in the bathroom. Looked like a regular cloth type chair which would be weird in a open bathroom.

I think they've done a good job so far depicting fear and paranoia. Right now it's hard to tell what's real and what's not, and who is in on it, and who isn't.

and for me I find it riveting ~ supposedly it's next week's episode that the reviewers (who've seen it, really goes off the charts and proves it's worth). This season in my mind is taking a huge dump on 'Roanoke' and 'Coven'.

So far I wouldn't say it been done well this season. Unless they clear it up in a future episode, it seems like the "horror" scenes make no sense story wise and just exist as an excuse to feature clowns in scenes that make you jump. At worst it's like they started with a directive to bring back Twisty and then tried to piece together a series arc that would feature more clowns because they were going to be the big thing this Halloween season.
