Whoops! Got distracted last night, sorry, everyone!
Just did the prize drawing but before I reveal the winners, just a reminder:
Thanks to GoldenWheels and HamiltonBooks for their generosity in our prizes! His one request is that the winner have a US based postal address.
The prizes are: Prize Pack 1:
1. Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Tales: Vintage Tales from Disney's Most Popular Animated Short Films
2. Futurama: Beast with a Million Backs
Prize Pack 2:
1. Jim Henson's Tale of Sand: The Illustrated Screenplay
2. 9/Coraline BR
3. ParaNorman 3-D BR
Prize Pack 3:
1. Cracking Animation, 4th Ed. Revised: The Aardman Book of 3-D Animation
2. Fireball XL5: The Complete Series
I'll be sending this info to the winners via private message, but just in case, I'll put it here too: Please claim your prize by Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, 4 PM central time. If you haven't claimed it either on this thread or PM, your prize will be given to the next person drawn (I use a random generator and just move down the original list). Also, you don't have to send me your address if you don't want to, however, GoldenWheels does need it to send the prize, so don't forget to send it to him!
Finally, when claiming your prize, please send me the order you'd like them in. I will do my best to get you the one you want most, but first come, first choice!
Drumroll please....

That's a great choice KaBluie! This was a stacked set of prize packs (it made it hard to make up my mind). We are very fortunate here to have such a great sponsor!

Congrats to the winners and thanks LJG765 for running the challenge and GoldenWheels for the cool prizes! Like the horror movie challenge I never get to everything I want to watch in a month but I had a fun go of it.

Too late for the Challenge, but perhaps of interest to those who participated. I see The Lion King has been rereleased. I have the trilogy on Blu Ray myself, but others might be interested. I totally missed National Kitty Day last month, as that would have been a good day to watch one of the movies.

I have wrapped up my list and am ready to move on to planning for the Horror Challenge! I finished the checklist with 115 entries at a little over 60 hours. I had 26 movies in there and 40+ tv episodes and 40+ shorts so I think it was a highly successful month. Thanks to LJG again for a tremendous Sci-Fi Challenge and then immediately hosting the Animation Challenge also. You do yourself proud every year!

Thanks for the prizes, Golden Wheels! When you offer such great items, I don't think any of us are complaining about how long it takes.

It may be too late for the challenge, but tonight's episode of "American Masters" on PBS (9PM EST) focuses on Tyrus Wong, a Chinese immigrant who made his living as an artist, mostly for Hollywood studios, and is best known as the chief inspiration artist for Walt Disney's BAMBI (1942). He made a series of paintings designed to show animators how Disney wanted to film to look. He died last year at the age of 106!
A friend of mine devoted a blog entry to this program:

I received my prize pack in today's mail. Everything looks super cool and I want to thank Golden Wheels and Hamilton Books for their continuing generosity! It adds a little extra oomph to the challenge to see who wins at the end.

I found it too late for the Challenge, but last night I was going through a drawer in one of my dressers, and what did I find? My copy of Volume 1 of Armored Fleet Dairugger XV. I'm tempted to watch some episodes of that and Vehicle Voltron back to back, in order to compare the differences.
