Who Would You Like To See As Adults Of The Kids In IT (2017)?
If there is an IT Pt.2 the kids are grown up. Who would you like to see play the kids?
For Bev/Beverly these three come to mind.
Bryce Dallas Howard, Amy Adams, Emma Stone.

Its supposed to be 30 years later, so I think Stone and Howard would be miscast even with aging makeup, they just look young.
The original mention of Chastain seemed smart. Plus she worked with the director previously. Adams would also work.

They can adjust the age through hair & makeup if they had to. But I don't think they will have to. I don't think they'll need a slew if A-listers to pull in an audience.

Jessica Chastain for Adult Bev. She already made Mama with It's director. Has Amy Adams ever made a horror movie? Bryce Dallas Howard would work too as she'll be in her late 30s when production begins. Emma Stone is way too young.
- John Krasinski for the main dude. Has enough name recognition for a lead, but not overly expensive.
- James Franco to play the wise-cracking Coke bottle glasses kid
- Fred Savage to play the the germphobic kid.
- Jason Segal to play the chubby kid
- Ben Foster to play the Jewish kid
- Anthony Mackie to play the black kid

I actually really like some of the people that the kids picked.
I was all for Chastain before seeing the film... but after seeing it I'm for Amy Adams all the way. Sophia Lillis looks soooooo much like a young Adams.
Here are my picks:
Bill - Colin Hanks or Jason Ritter (he's a bit younger than 40, but I think having another Ritter in IT would be cool).
Ben - Bradley Cooper or Jerry O'Connell
Beverly - Amy Adams or Chastain
Richie - Bill Hader (I love this pick from Finn)
Mike - David Oyelowo
Eddie - Tobey Maguire (Gyllenhaal would be cool too)
Stan - Ben Foster is a good choice

I could go with Amy Adams for Beverly. The only thing is she's a bit mainstream but I'd go with her over the popular choice of Chastain who I'm not really a fan of. Not sure about the others. I feel like it would be better to go with smaller/unknown names.

If the IT TV miniseries/movie taught me anything it is that the adult actors will suck compared to the kids regardless of who they cast!

Bateman is good. Sudekis could work. Maybe Mark Duplass, Sterling Brown. Emma Stone wouldn't be bad for Beverly...

Amy Adams is a shoe in for Bev. All the way through the movie i was sayong to myself that they must have gotten her signed up for the second movie as the kids look and acting was do similar to Adams.

I haven't given any thought to who would play the male roles but after five minutes of seeing Lillis all I could think was that Amy Adams agent could hold the studio hostage to meet her salary demand. Hell even if she doesn't take that role some studio needs to make a young and old movie of some type with the two of them. It was an uncanny resemblance.
