Pitchforks 200 Best Albums of the 1960's.
I never thought this day would come. Its been over a decade since they put out their 70's, 80's 90's lists. I just assumed they would never do it. Well, here it is:

While recognizing these things are all subjective, I don't see how The White Album gets ranked higher than Revolver, and Pet Sounds over Blonde on Blonde, Highway 61 Revisited, John Wesley Harding, A Love Supreme, etc. is a bit silly.
I saw the #1 record coming a mile away though and can't say I disagree.

Yet another Internet list. Nice for discussion but not much else.
OK I'll bite: Love's "Forever Changes" is entirely too high at #33, and in fact should probably just be nuked from orbit. And "Odessey and Oracle" only at #47 is an abomination.
