Re: What Are You Playing? (August 2017)
I would get Sonic Mania too, but I'm a little overloaded at the moment. Also, we're moving this month and deciding how we're going to deck out our new house, so who knows how much gaming I'll actually be able to do? Mario + Rabbids is an anniversary gift for my wife, but I'm sure I'll play it too. That does get into "buying it this month; probably won't touch it until September", though.
I might have a PS4 Pro before the month's out. Just waiting for some Best Buy points to convert to reward certificates.

I picked up Street Fighter V as it was cheap. Not greatly impressed. Finishing up AC: Black Flag for my second time around. Close to completing Bloodborne. Also played about an hour into the new Resident Evil.

I'm giving this a try after spending a lot of time with Elder Scrolls Online.
Diablo III - Necromancer DLC....
...and of course this from time to time for quick laughs and fun.....
...and DL this for a try since it's free and there has been some positive feedback and reviews.

Still slowing working through Dying Light. Picked up Crash Bandicot N. Sane Trilogy, Injustice 2, and Dirt 4 from the library and switching between those as well.

I was playing Splatoon for a hot second this month, but I'm done now. I just can not wrap my head around any of the control schemes enough to get comfortable.
Installed and played a couple matches of PUBG the other day. Scratched that itch and uninstalled that already. I'll revisit it again after the next major update.
Finished the newest Wolfenstein. Damn that's a great game.
And just started Divinity Original Sin yesterday. I'm maybe 2 hours in, and I love love love it. It's fucking terrific.
Oh, and also started playing Lego Batman 3 with my kids. My youngest isn't super interested, but my 6yo is all over it, and I hope we get to play together a ton more.

Did you go straight into multiplayer, or did you try out the campaign? Hero Mode is a really nice way to get a handle on the controls (and to get acquainted with a ton of different weapons) before diving into online Turf War.

Really? What's giving you trouble? I found it pretty easy, even when using different weapons. The only one that's really different, I guess, is the roller. It's my favorite weapon for Turf War.

I've played a little bit of single player, but mostly PVP or Salmon Run. Think I'm around level 11 now.
I just can't get the sensitivity pinned down to where I like it. I don't feel like I'm making fine adjustments fast enough, and that's using the Pro Controller, one con/hand, or while in handheld mode. It just doesn't feel like I think it should, and it's throwing me off.
The ink roller is actually one of my favorite weapons because there's very little need for motion controls.
And honestly, there's just not much pulling me back into playing. I don't have that feeling of wanting to play just one more round, or hurrying home from work to get some matches in before dinner. The hooks just aren't there.

It's fantastic. I loved their two previous games (Bastion & Transistor) but I was a little hesitant with Pyre when I saw what the gameplay was but I ended up really enjoying it. The writing and characters are top notch too like all Supergiant games.

Re: What Are You Playing? (August 2017)
The weird thing about playing Agents of Mayhem after a diet of nothing but Splatoon 2 for a month is that I keep tilting the controller to tweak the camera.
