The Killers -- "Wonderful Wonderful" -- Fall 2017
The Killers have released a new song, “The Man,” after some rumors and teasing. It’s the first single from the band’s upcoming fifth album, which is called Wonderful Wonderful, and is due out in the fall. The track debuted on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, and you can listen to it alongside an interview with Brandon Flowers below.

The band debuted another new track, “Run For Cover,” earlier this week at a show in Atlantic City.

Thanks for sharing. I saw them at the 104.5 10th anniversary show in Camden, NJ Sunday night. These guys are real professionals.
I can't wait for the new album.

Nothing they have ever done since has been nearly as good as Hot Fuss and I'm not holding my breath that they will ever produce anything as good as that album ever again

Seen them a number of times now, most recently at a festival in Bilbao Spain - BBK Live. great shows and fora festival they played 90 mins which was great!
Weekend tickets are only 80 Euro for the event - Depeche Mode was the Thursday Headliner - Killers Friday and Sunday was Die Antwoord.
Looking forward to the new album, and I assume new tour too

I didn't like "The Man" the first 2 times I heard it but then a few days later I found myself with it stuck in my head and on subsequent listens have really started to like it. Not groundbreaking or anything but it's got a fun vibe to it.

Alt Nation on XM plays "The Man" quite a bit, and I like it a lot. It's a little different sound for The Killers, but not too far off either. I like that they brought some fun to it.

North American Tour Dates announced.

Pre-Sale Tickets for Free Fan Club members (like me) go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM, venue time (for 24 hrs)
Regular Ticket Sales start on Friday 8/11/17
I guess I will be buying tickets tomorrow. I'm in a bit of a quandry. The tickets for the big Vegas show at the MGM in Feb go on sale tomorrow. Tickets for the smaller, more intimate show at the Pearl Theater (at the Palms) in December go on sale in September. So if you want to see them at that show (which will be a much harder ticket to secure) you have to decide whether to pass on the sure-thing tickets this week. I might end up with both....

Now they have added another Vegas show -- a benefit for the Shooting victims. It will be at T-Mobile and will be their first time playing with Vegas' other big band, Imagine Dragons. Penn & Teller, David Copperfield and Cirque will also perform. Unlike the tour, all four of the guys will be performing for this (on the tour, only Brandon and Ronnie are touring; Dave and Mark don't want to travel). I got awesome seats for that show - Section 1 Row S (directly in front of the stage, 19 rows back). Never have had arena show seats that good. So the Mrs and I will still be seeing them twice in a 2-3 month period. Looking forward to it. I liked the new album.

Too early for a career box set?
https://consequenceofsound.net/2018/...vinyl-box-set/
This summer, The Killers will celebrate 14 years of hit-making albums by collecting all their full-length efforts in The Killers Career Vinyl Box. Due June 15th from Island/UMe, the 10-LP compendium features all seven records from the Las Vegas band’s killer (wink wink) career.
Included in the box set is the band’s 2004 Hot Fuss debut, 2006’s classic Sam’s Town, the 2007 rarities collection Sawdust, 2008’s Day & Age, 2012’s Battle Born, and last year’s Wonderful Wonderful. Also featured on vinyl for the first time is the 2009 live double-album Live From The Royal Albert Hall. Previously only available on DVD, the 17-song set was recorded during a pair of July 2009 shows at the iconic London venue.
The Killers Career Vinyl Box will be available in standard 180-gram black vinyl as well as limited-edition clear vinyl versions. Both configurations will come with a turntable slip mat featuring the band’s “K” logo inspired by the lights of the Vegas strip.
