Dracula & The Mummy Legacy sets on May 16th
Yes! The next pair of Universal Horror Legacy Collections on BR!
The versions linked contain Fandango Cash to see the new The Mummy in theaters as well as digital copies of the films. Current prices are $39.99 each but that should drop. If the Frankenstein and Wolf Man sets are indicators the prices will get to ~$20 each.
Dracula
The Mummy
These reportedly will contain the same films as do the respective DVD Legacy sets.
**EDIT**
Some sites are listing set contents which do not show the Spanish version of Dracula among the films. Looks like this one's up in the air... It's on the current BR of Dracula so I'd think it'll be included.
The Spanish version is included as a "Special Feature" on the main disc. This disc appears to be identical to the prior BR releases.
**EDIT 2**
Industry insider Bob Furmanek has said (on another forum) that Abbot and Costello Meet the Mummy *will* be WS on this release!

I've just pre-ordered these!
Now, here's hoping they eventually do sets of Invisible Man and Creature From Black Lagoon as well.
And even more so, I would hope that the Creature set would also include the 3D version of both movies (in what would be a first appearance on home video for Revenge of the Creature).

Once Dracula drops to roughly $20, I'm completely in. I would also welcome an Invisible Man set as well. The Frankenstein (outside of the original) and the WolfMan sets didn't do much for me, but those two certainly would.

Very happy to hear this - I figured the rest will be coming out as well, but not fast enough for me - I'm not getting any younger!

I would get the Dracula set with a price drop. I'll bite when it gets to $20-25. Maybe an outside chance at $30 if i'm in the mood for it.
I did get the Frankenstein set earlier and I was happy with it.
I didn't bother with the Wolfman set though.

Yep, those would be the last two. Interesting these two sets have a digital code included, but the Frankenstein and Wolf Man Legacy sets didn't come with them.

Nice. I got the previously released sets from BB, because they had the best price at that time. I'll pre-order them through Amazon now, but will go the BB route if they are lower.

I'm still hoping there will eventually be a complete collection so I don't have to own 3 copies of House of Dracula, House of Frankenstein and A&C Meet Frankenstein.

They'll likely do a BR Complete set like they did the DVD Complete set. Just take the 6 individual releases and put them in a large slipcase. They did not remove the duplicate discs/films from that set and won't with a BR one.

They put the same disc that has just those 3 movies in the Frankenstein, Wolf Man and Dracula sets so it's safe to say they won't include 3 of the same disc in the hopefully eventual complete set.

Dammit, I thought the last sets had UV codes. Fuck you, Universal, I'm a whiny first world bitch and and want them . Wonder when the last two will come out, and if they'll do a big boxed set then?

For the DVD complete set they did just that, included multiple copies of some disks, as Bob stated. So no it is not safe to say they won't do the same thing for a complete blu-ray set. While it may come off as a dumb thing to do, it is probably easier and cheaper for Universal since they just put a box around the combination of individual sets instead of creating new packaging for a special run.

The DVD box set of all the movies has *three* copies of the duplicate discs. All they did was put the individual releases in a large slip-case. I own a copy of that set.
There are *three* copies of the disc with:
House of Dracula (1945)
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)
One in the Dracula case, one in the Frankenstein case, and one in the Wolf Man case.
They'll do exactly the same thing with the BR box set and you'll have duplicate discs.
There will be three copies, of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, as it's a stand-alone disc.
You'll have 3 copies of House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula but the Dracula disc will not have Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man as on the Frankenstein and Wolf Man sets. In that respect the Dracula disc won't be identical but you have 3 copies of the two films which have all three creatures.
Here are the contents of the Dracula set (from a Uni press release):
Spoiler:
More disturbingly is that listing does not show the Spanish version of Dracula to be included, either as a added feature or stand-alone disc. I tend to think it'll be there as it's been on every BR release of Dracula to date and they'll likely just use the same disc as with the "Essential Collection" but with different artwork for this collection.

These are currently CDN$32.89 from Amazon.ca. With ~$10 shipping it's currently ~$58 US for both shipped to the US.
I'll hold out for a better US price reduction but that *is* a pretty good price.

The non-digital/movie cash version of "The Mummy" is now $29.99 at Amazon.
The version with digital copy and MC is still $39.99 - hopefully it, and the Dracula title will drop in price soon.

Amazon is showing Dracula with the Spanish version as a special feature. Doesn't show it in the listing, but you can zoom in on the packaging and it shows it there.

The Movie Cash/DC versions of both sets are currently $29.99 at Amazon. I'm still hoping for a lower price but I can happily live with this one.

Dracula down to $25 at Amazon. Shipping and tax will put it over $30 probably.
I'm going to bite when it gets to $20, hopefully sometime soon.

Universal is releasing a 4 movie BD collection of the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies along with The Rock's Scorpion King on the 16th.
It's only $25 on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Mummy-Ultimat...ection+blu+ray
They already released the 3 Mummy movies individually, so this definitely saves you money.
I currently don't have any of this series on BD. I am definitely thinking about it, but I wonder if I should hold out and wait for Best Buy to get it. Thinking they might add some Movie money for Cruise's version. Amazon seems to never stock titles with Movie money.
That Movie money alone (should they have it) would make the upgrade worth it.
