Imposters (Bravo) -- S: Inbar Lavi
Bravo Media sets the premiere date for its new original, scripted series "Imposters" (previously announced as "My So Called Wife"), debuting Tuesday, February 7 at 10pm ET/PT and produced by Universal Cable Productions. The series follows Maddie (Inbar Lavi, "Gang Related"), a persona shifting con-artist who is as beautiful as she is dangerous, leaving her unwitting victims tormented when they realize they have been used and robbed of everything - including their hearts. But things get complicated when her former targets, Ezra (Rob Heaps, "Frankenstein and the Vampyre: A Dark and Stormy Night"), Richard (Parker Young, "Suburgatory") and Jules (Marianne Rendón) team up to track her down. While pursuing her newest mark, Maddie meets a potential love interest, Patrick (Stephen Bishop, "Being Mary Jane"), which threatens to derail her assignment, much to the chagrin of her mysterious boss, The Doctor. Meanwhile, her dejected past lovers manage to take control of their new realities, not realizing that in their quest to confront her, they'll have to face their own truths and find new versions of themselves along the way.

May not have much interest here, but I like the femme fatale aspect.

I was not aware of this series until I happened to catch a promo for it while channel surfing.
Does have an interesting hook with the femme fatale/con artist angle. Inbar Lavi was most recently on The Last Ship for those who don't know the name off hand.
I set the DVR to check this out, but I am way backed up on shows, so not sure when I will have the time to check this out. Seems like for every 1-2 shows I manage to get caught up on, 5 more premiere.

I bet a lot of people would remember her as Winsome on SoA.

Not bad. I was hesitant at first to watch, since I've never watched a show on Bravo, but this was pretty good.

I really enjoyed the pilot and thought everything clicked in it.
I didn't enjoy the turn in plot during the second episode at all. Two guys get scammed by a con woman, so they become hobo grifters themselves across the country? It turns them from sympathetic figures to a couple of immoral men that probably got what they deserved.
This is what I worried about when watching the pilot. This is a concept that works much better in a two-hour movie than an open-ended television series.

1st two eps where great.
Inbar Lavi is gorgeous.
She seems sooo familiar. I've seen Last Ship so probably why.
I love Brian Benben as an actor so I'm in for this rest of this one.

Inbar Lavi was on that FOX summer series Gang Related a few years ago if that's where a few of you remember her from.

The series got a lot darker in this past episode. I still have no idea what the trio expect from Inbar Lavi's character. Are they looking for their money back or for closure?

It's an enjoyable cast and each episode has been interestingly well written. That being said, I haven't liked some of the bigger plot twists and turns.
The twist with Patrick was always a possibility, but it doesn't really stand up to scrutiny. Law enforcement would have wiretaps on all of her associates and would have almost certainly stepped in when one of her marks got killed like the bank manager. I'll assume it will be revealed they are going after the unseen Doctor supposedly running the entire con operation.

Excellent first season and simple setup for season two.
This show deserves an Emmy nod. Don't think it would win, but a nomination is deserved.
My favorite sleeper hit of the season.

Just caught up on this, great first season. Lots of fun, some good twists and a top notch cast. Can't wait for Season 2 and anyone on the fence should give it a shot.

The adventure continues in season two, with Maddie determined to reclaim her life after she and the Bumblers escape her former cohort Max (Benben) and FBI Agent Patrick (Bishop). But in her attempts to settle into a new normal, Maddie quickly realizes that living in the game was not nearly as difficult as leaving it. Just as Ezra, Richard and Jules have begun to master the art of the con, unforeseen events send them off on a wild, unexpected adventure. Meanwhile, Max - along with "The Doctor" (Ray Proscia) - and Patrick are out to seek revenge. With the stakes higher than ever, Maddie and the Bumblers must stay one step ahead in order to maintain their freedom.

Solid premiere, good to see everyone back.
Premise is good so far and I like that they picked up where we left off last season.
