Amazon Preview
Not sure if this is worthy of a separate thread, but I was wondering who participates in the Amazon preview surveys. I just finished watching The Legend of Master Legend, which was horrible even though I like John Hawkes a lot.
Anyway, anyone else do these surveys? I've gotten about $60 in credit for doing the surveys, and this is the second time I've watched a pilot that's not yet available on Prime Video. I also kind of wonder how influential the survey answers are in determining what gets put up on Prime.

Re: Amazon Preview
Blu, I got an invite about a year ago. They send surveys asking about viewing habits, and ask for opinions on stuff like concepts, artwork on shows, random stuff like that. They don't offer money every time, but every survey so far has asked enough questions, it usually takes 5-10 minutes at minimum. The survey I filled out for Legend of Master Legend took about 20 minutes. But hey, free $20. And I got to voice my opinion on how lousy that show was.

Re: Amazon Preview
Just for another invite to preview the pilot The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. And, it wasn't bad at all. Looking at IMDb, it looks to be from the same woman who created The Gilmore Girls. The cast is comprised of mostly people I've never seen or heard of before, but Tony Shalhoub is in it as well. Takes place in the 1950's and focuses on a young Jewish women who is the perfect wife who's life takes a turn when her husband leaves her. So - she becomes a comedian. It does have that fast paced wit and dialogue like Gilmore Girls and goes from comedy to drama in a heartbeat, and does it fairly well. Hour long, but is paced very well. I did enjoy it, and wouldn't mind seeing a season of it. And yay, another $25 to watch it.

How do I get in on this? Do I have to be a Prime subscriber?

I'm honestly not sure if you need to be Prime or not. I just got invite about a year ago and have been doing it since, and I am a Prime member. You can sign up to receive an invite, but as GatorDeb said above, she signed up for an invite, but I don't know how fast you may get it. Nothing on the page for it that says you need to be a Prime member.

So I guess no one else is a part of this? Just finished watching the first 3 episodes of Picnic at Hanging Rock. It's a 6 episode series and very good so far. Looking forward to seeing the remaining 3 episodes. Imdb says it comes out on Amazon on May 25th. Also got $35 for watching them.
