Death Stranding (Hideo Kojima game, Release Date: 11/8/2019)
We never made one. So here it is. And there is a bit to chronicle...
------
Metal Gear Solid 5 happens. Kojima gets booted out by Konami. Even to the point where Kojima can't even get an award for MGS5. An issue stemming from his employment contract.

Kojima goes silent for a bit.
Then this happens in June of this year.

Fast Forward to December 1st:

Nice little cameo by Guillermo del Toro. He won't have a part in the game as of yet. He was just in the trailer. I'd be game to see him in it. Interesting little scarring on his skull though. Someone's worked on him in that world. Seems appropriate considering who and how he is as a person.
So now we have Reedus and Mikkelsen starring in it. No release date yet. It's a supposed open world action game. Kojima has just said that it will come out before the year Akira was based in, 2019.

I watched the Game Awards live and I kept waiting for Keighly to suck Kojima off onstage. Dude has a serious man crush going on

Yeah. I just saw this yesterday. But... uh, yeah. At some point if he kept talking any more Kojima may have had to walk up to him and slide out his dick to shut Keighly up. It started off fine but then it just went a bit too far. Didn't ruin it, pre se. But... if he chose his words better it wouldn't come off as desperate.

This is simply a new take on The Last of Us. Some biological disaster that is weeding out what is left of humanity. Looking forward to it but not wowed by it.

Yeah, I'm interested. The title is dumb, but whatever. Lots of game titles are dumb. But that teaser didn't do a whole lot for me.

Looking forward to the game, though. Not much to go off of yet, but Kojima's involvement gives it a good start.

I have more question after watching the trailer than I did before. Looks weird but I'm in.

It looks very weird. Not a day one purchase for me but I'm interested. I also don't believe they'll make that release date.

Some of that open world traversal stuff early in the trailer looked interesting. The rest looks like another Kojima game that I just don't have the patience for anymore.

Those holograms seem to be cameos by various celebrities that he wanted to be part of the game, so there will probably be more.

Conan has been in Halo and now this. Pretty decent for a guy who doesn't play video games.

The review embargo has been lifted and, uh...apparently scores are all over the place.
There's 3 to 4 hours worth of scenes before you actually start playing?
