Dead Rising 4 - XB1/PC now; PS4 on 12/5/17
While rumours concerning a new entry in the Dead Rising series have been doing the rounds, including developer Capcom Vancouver staffing up for ambitious Unreal Engine 4 titles, it seems that one of those games could well be Dead Rising 4.
That's if leaked images showing the game's poster artwork, title screen and a solitary in-game shot are to be believed. According to a site called ThisGenGaming, Dead Rising 4 could be a remake of the first Dead Rising set during Christmas, with the game's mall in Willamette, Colorado surrounded by snow. As such, it seems that Dead Rising hero Frank West (he's covered wars, y'know) will make a comeback.
Of course, blurry off-screen pictures typically don't tend to be all that reliable a source, but Kotaku notes that it's seen another shot of the same poster from a separate source, which corroborates the leaked artwork's legitimacy somewhat.
Whatever the case, it's almost certain that Capcom will officially reveal Dead Rising 4 during E3 next week, if indeed this leak proves to be trustworthy. Whether it will actually be a Dead Rising 1 remake starring Frank West and which platforms it will appear on should also be confirmed. Watch this space.

I was partway through 3, but my last save was right at the start of a really tough boss fight. I tried like 10 times and couldn't beat the boss because I had shitty ammo, weapons, and health at that particular moment. As far as I could tell, there was no way to just NOPE out of the fight. So I stopped playing. If I go back, I'm probably better off starting from scratch, which I really don't want to do.

Looking foward to it. I've really enjoyed every game in the series so far. Might even be enough to get me to buy an XBONE again. Although at this point PC would be a very nice.

I enjoyed the vastness of Dead Rising 3, but I also sort of miss the confined detail of the maps of the first 2 games. I definitely wouldn't be sad if they lost the freeways. They made navigating between the 4 main areas of the map such a chore.

Liked the holiday trailer. Still need to finish DR3, I was close to finishing a while back. Characters weren't very compelling but I loved the gameplay (never played the previous installments).

I got to play 20 minutes or so of this at Comic Con.
Big fan of the previous entries. Liked part 3 OK, but not as much as the first two. The demo I played was confined to an outdoor environment. The goal was to kill 700 or 800 something zombies in 5 minutes and win a prize (got my dead rising socks!!).
The images looked great, however everything seemed a little choppy. Definitely not as smoothly playing as DR3. May have been a frame rate issue. Hopefully this gets optimized prior to release. Plenty of time to do so.

"Frank is back" - He just looks completely different, sounds completely different, and has a completely different personality. Also the lack of a timer means the defining unique aspect of the gameplay is gone, along with any challenge. Saints Row 4 with zombies.
...I'll probably buy it.
