What's with links now?

Used to shorten them or something. Now, anytime someone posts a link, it borks up the forum, posting the whole thing, so it gets super wide.

It's extremely frustrating. The iphone7 thread is a good example. It's also an example of multiple threads that should be combined, given there is also a thread called something like "iPhone 7 features".

Maybe it has to do with the way he's posting those links?

If I edit those posts and immediately click "Save" (no further changes made), the hyperlinks are shortened as expected.

Re: What's with links now?

Not really sure what I did wrong? I just copied and pasted the link. I am using mobile if it makes a difference.

On mobile it doesn't distort the view.

Edit :i see that it isn't automatically converting to the hyperlink. Even if I hit edit on the mobile site and immediately click save as discussed above.

However if I request the desktop site and hit edit - save then it fixes it. So something is messed up with a mobile site and the auto hyperlink thing.

sounds good then. I either need to post those links on desktop, or if on mobile, use the url button.

Good to see there's a work around. That said, I will let tech know about the mobile link issue
