They were all blood elves, right? Do you recall seeing any night elves?

I kept wanting to see a Tauren or a goblin. I'm surprised they didn't include a Pandaren for the Chinese audiences.

not familiar with the races, but looking up some pics, i can say:

-the elves looked more like night elves (purple with glowing bluish/purplish eyes)
-no tauren as far as i can tell; would have definitely noticed if a big ass bull-man was in that mix
-pretty sure no goblins
-no pandaren but one of the elves at the end was definitely asian-looking and most likely a chinese actor.

They were high elves, the night elves aren't in the story yet.

I saw it last night, and I liked it. Was very cool to see all those locations made real. 2 questions though:

1) What is Garona a 1/2 breed of? It sounded like she was half orc/human, but I didn't think there were any humans on the other world at this point in the story yet?

2) What was that gift that the guardian gave Garona? Looked like a flower ... I was expecting something to come from that, but was it just a flower? Seems a bit lame

I watched it today and didn't hate it. Certainly not as horrible as I was led to believe. Very flawed but I have seen much much worse. Hearing Dominic Cooper speak with his normal voice is weird. He sounds like he has the voice of a 14 year old.

I liked it alright. It was a little confusing at parts even with having some idea of the back story.
The lore is pre-WoW so i dont know it as well. I'd love to see a movie of the Arthas story line. the book of his story was decent
