I know WB doesn't do it anymore but I'd love for this to be jam packed. At the very least let Miller do a commentary. I'd love to learn how Miller got a lot of this stuff done.

I admittedly rarely watch special features at all anymore but this is one film where I think I could watch a couple of hours of "How they did it" type docs.

The amount of stunts done, the variety of them, etc. This film deserves a great amount of features for it on BD.

There should be at least a 15 minute featurette on the guitar player alone.

I think that guy got the most laughs cuz of how insane it was to have a character like that. He sticks out, in a good way, like crazy. I chuckled every time we saw him.

Amazon also has a pre-order for the Mad Max 4-film Anthology. Price is a little ridiculous right now. I assume this is going to be nothing more than a re-package of the previously released 3-film steel case and then Fury Road.

Fury Road is up for pre-order at $45 MSRP.

Don't know if that's the actual price, or just a place-holder used by Amazon.

Mad Max: Fury Road brings George Miller's post-apocalyptic franchise roaring vigorously back to life.

That's standard for Warner Bros Blu-ray + DVD + Digital.

So I assume it'll follow the same price line as American Sniper and Get Hard

On the bright side, Jupiter Ascending is also $44.95 and includes the 3D Blu-ray, the regular Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD versions of the movie.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road (Fall '15)

Just saw it at a Regal RPX Cinema with Dolby Atmos...what a huge screen, almost the size of IMAX. Can't wait for it to come out on BD and see it in my HT!

which theater? an IMAX screen in my mind should be at least three stories tall (or 48 feet) did you like the Atmox mix, I was thoroughly impressed. thank god this is a Warner Bros. release and the bluray will have that mix included.

How did the MM trilogy set have MM1? Was it the exact MGM BD?

possible silent version too. With just the music playing. Hrmm.

I'm game for it. It's a very detailed movie. B&W works very well for films w/ this much visual detail in it. Especially w/ how he cuts it. Should come off fine.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road (Fall '15)

Not really interested in a B&W presentation for this movie. I loved the saturated colors and, frankly, that would rob it of its punch. If this was a horror flick like The Mist, I could understand the desire for a B&W version.

Just give me the theatrical presentation (in 2D and 3D) with an Atmos audio track.
