so with that $7 coupon, Little Mermaid is $15.99 at Target. That'll probably get me to cancel my Amazon order.

WOW that's high for This Is The End. I love the film, but not paying that price. And that took a LONG time for The Croods to come out.

Ha! Did they reuse Ted's bottle opener for This is the End?

Does anyone know if Target lets you price match Amazon and use a manufacturer coupon? I'm not sure since they could say Amazon wouldn't take it...The Little Mermaid with DC is currently $26.99 on Amazon, if Target will price match and take the coupon, it would be $19.99.

Yes, but there's no guarantee it will stay $26.99 until Oct. 1

I'd like to get This is the End eventually as it's one of my favorite comedies in a while but I may wait for Black Friday if there isn't a lower price somewhere else.

The Croods cover reminds me of a typical family shopping at Walmart.

Meh, similar to all the movies that group of guys put out, in 6 months it'll be below $15 and within a year it will be below $10.

Although I loved This Is The End, I can happily wait to purchase the Blu Ray. I learned my lesson after the release of 'Knocked Up,' I purchased some stupid playing card edition for some ridiculous price only to find out 6 months later it was selling for half that price.

I know that I'm not saying anything we don't already know about the price reduction strategy of DVD/Blu Rays. It's just that I've learned to be super selective and patient when it comes to purchasing new releases.

Ha. The Walmart exclusive version of The Croods should have a mirror on the front cover instead of a picture of the Croods family... preferably a distorting funhouse type mirror. Then it would be truly accurate for Walmart shoppers. Just kidding.

Considering Target does not appear to be carrying IM3 3D in stores, I would not be surprised if they don't carry LM 3D either.

Target also didn't carry the 3D editions of Oz- The Great and Powerful or The Great Gatsby. I've voiced my displeasure of this through those surveys that are always on my receipts. There really shouldn't even BE any separate 2D-only releases of 3D titles, Lionsgate so far hasn't done that with any of theirs- you either get the 3D disc or nothing.

FYI but Best Buy has This is the End with "exclusive bonus content" for $19.99
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/This+Is+...ive&lp=48&cp=1

Hopefully it's a bonus disc and not the online BS like World War Z.

Is there enough broad interest in 3D to even carry it at B&M at this point? Seriously, I don't know anyone who even uses the 3D function on their TV (for those who have one). I'm not ripping on those who are into it, but I'm guessing the (shrinking) 3D numbers just don't make sense at this point.

ESPN is shutting down their 3D channel on Monday for a reason.

Not trying to hijack this thread. LOL.

I believe the AD said it was a bonus disc.

Because they never had any compelling content in the first place? I heard they mostly showed the same football game over and over. Sports bore the hell out of me but I might've watched sports in 3D given the chance, not going to subscribe to cable for that though. And I'd like to personally slap anyone who has a 3D TV and doesn't use it!

I know in the ad (read on Blu-ray.com) the price is $24.99 but IIRC, there was a title in the past they had marked down to the online price (in this case $19.99) in store. Wonder if that will be true for this one as well.

According to the post on Blu-ray.com, it's supposed to be a disc. But since the site doesn't say bonus disc (just bonus content), I'll wait until Tuesday and see for myself given shipping isn't free (if it were, I'd pre-order and could return in store if it wasn't a disc).
