Last night I went into the Best Buy on 44th St. & Fifth Ave. and their single anime rack had even fewer items: 35 total, but only 20 unique titles, less one after I bought the Gaiking Movie Collection, something I was going to order on Amazon, but it was actually much cheaper here.

That is the story across the country. Areas with dense Asian populations have a few more unique anime DVDs/Blu-rays, but most Best Buys carry a handful of anime releases these days. I have no idea why they even continue the depleted section as its separate thing.
