Announcing DVDTalk Forum Runner mobile app for iOS and Android

Hi folks! Due to overwhelming demand, DVDTalk is now available in the Forum Runner mobile app for both iOS and Android.

Just go to your app store, download the $1.99 Forum Runner app, and search for DVD Talk Forum, and voila: mobile forum browsing and posting!

I like having a mobile app as an option but I don't like having a pop up every page telling me about.

Yep. The notification pop up telling you about the app. Fucking obnoxious.

Ah, only when you go there from a mobile browser I assume. I got it once on my phone, but clicking around to other forum threads I never saw it again. Nor when I closed my browser and reopened forum.dvdtalk.com or just www.dvdtalk.com either.

I also guess you may have your mobile browser set to desktop. Mine is set to mobile and I have seen it at least 10 times in the past hour.

Re: Announcing DVDTalk Forum Runner mobile app for iOS and Android

Just had a thought... In the same way we were successful in announcing Avatar for all, maybe we should announce the mobile version in the same way to attempt to better inform our members......

Yes I used "we" & "our" as we the members of our forum....

Re: Announcing DVDTalk Forum Runner mobile app for iOS and Android

Guys I am going to move these last 2 posts -- this thread is for forum runner issues, not mobile in general.

Re: Announcing DVDTalk Forum Runner mobile app for iOS and Android

This thread is several years old. Is this still the best app for using DVDTalk on a mobile phone?

Re: Announcing DVDTalk Forum Runner mobile app for iOS and Android

nope.

Forumrunner is now officially no longer supported.
I'm sure this thread will get locked an un-sticky'd as around the same time they figure out how to stop those annoying pop-up ads mentioned in a couple other threads.

The "mobile" website is the only option now.
